Here’s an interesting writing prompt…
Think of a person or an experience you remember well. Now, write for ten minutes – about what you don’t remember. For example:
“I don’t remember the time of day I walked from the small French village up the long hill to the Tibetan Buddhist Center. I don’t remember if there were two cats or one sleeping on the steps. I don’t remember how many people were milling around in the courtyard. I don’t remember if the monk was short or tall, but I do remember he waved to me and said in English, “Anything is possible here!”
Hope you enjoy this exercise. If you come up with something interesting, we’d enjoy reading it, so send it on.
Best,
Navé
